Welcome to the Historic Midtown Elizabeth Special Improvement District’s (SID) website. Our Business District, centered in the Broad Street/Courthouse area of Elizabeth, is a 15- block sector containing over 400 thriving businesses including: 185 retail establishments, 45 restaurants, and 150 professional offices. Since the creation of the Midtown Elizabeth SID the City of Elizabeth’s Downtown has undergone a tremendous revitalization.
