The Historic Midtown has three multi-level parking garages located at the northern and southern ends of the district.

The first is located on Dickinson Street and Jefferson Avenue behind City Hall. It is operated by the Elizabeth Parking Authority and has 550 parking spaces.

The second is located on West Grand Street across the street from the NJ Transit Elizabeth Train Station. It is operated by the Elizabeth Development Company and has 585 parking spaces.

The third, J. Christian Bollwage garage #1, is located on the corner of West Jersey Street an Elizabethtown Plaza. It is operated by the Elizabeth Parking Authority and has 1500 parking spaces.

The Historic Midtown District is centrally located in the heart of the City of Elizabeth. It is easily accessible from most major roadways including: Route 1&9, New Jersey Turnpike, Garden State Parkway, and many more.

Train service is also available to the Historic Midtown from Philadelphia and New York City. Check out www.njtransit.com for complete train or bus schedule and fare information. The Elizabeth train station is located in the heart of our district at the intersection of West Grand Street and Broad Street.
